The Bursa Triggerfish is a striking addition to established marine aquariums, known for its distinctive spotted pattern and robust personality. This species thrives in tanks of 180 gallons or larger, requiring plenty of rockwork and hiding spaces to feel secure. Bursa Triggerfish are carnivorous and will consume a varied diet of meaty foods, frozen shrimp, and quality pellets. They're moderately aggressive and best kept singly or with larger, similarly-sized fish that can hold their own. These fish are hardy and adaptable once acclimated, making them suitable for intermediate to experienced aquarists.
