Bottle Cleaning and Sanitizing Kit

Keeping your equipment clean and sanitary is the first step toward brewing a fantastic beer, and making sure the bottles that will hold your creation are free from contamination is just as important. With so many products to choose from, it can be difficult for novice brewers to know what cleaning agents and equipment they need. We put together this simple kit to remove the grime and the guesswork.

Star San
Star San is an acid based sanitizer that is quick, odorless, tasteless and safe for most materials except softer metals. Use of 1 oz per 5 gallons of water and a contact time of 1 minute makes Star San very economical and convenient.

Craft Meister Alkaline Brewery Wash
Does your cleaner power through dirt in cold water? Craft Meister Alkaline Brewery Wash does! This versatile and powerful brewery cleaner dissolves quickly and cleans rapidly in cold water in addition to hot water. Ideal for overnight soaking as the solution does not lose effectiveness over time like oxygen based cleaners such as Oxi Clean. Craft Meister Alkaline Brewery Wash will not leave a white chalky film on your equipment like most oxygen based cleaners and rinses away with ease.

Stainless Steel Bottle Washer
Clean out dirty bottles with ease. Our stainless bottle washer creates a jet-style stream that penetrates build-up in bottles or carboys. It is automatically activated when a bottle is pressed down onto the unit. Female hose thread connection.

Sink Faucet Adapter
Allows you to hook up the Bottle Washer (mentioned above) to most kitchen sink faucets. Converts female or male fine-thread to male hose-thread. You simply unscrew the screen assembly at the end of your faucet and screw this adapter in its place. The plastic end attaches to your faucet, and the chrome end attaches to the Bottle Washer.

Bottle Cleaning Brush
This traditional design Beer Bottle Brush, is perfect for cleaning 12 to 22oz beer bottles. If there is any stuck-on residue or dust in the bottom of your bottles the rounded end of the brush will reach in and scrub it out! Includes circular metal loop for hanging.

White Scrub & Scouring Pads (3 pack)
You clean your equipment to remove bacteria. Make sure the tool you’re doing it with doesn’t leave scratches that actually promote bacterial growth !These pads are made of soft, woven fibers making them ideal for equipment cleaning. Plastic Syringe
This plastic syringe is perfect for measuring out small amounts of liquid. Star San is so concentrated that the dilution rate is only 1 ounce per 5 gallons of water. This can be done with ease thanks to the volume markers on the Star San bottle, but what about when you want to make a mini batch of sanitizer? That's where the Plastic Syringe shines. Add a precise amount of Star San to whatever volume of water you see fit.

Spray Bottle
A bucket full of sanitizer is great for soaking equipment, but not every job requires that much solution. This 8 oz Sanitizing Spray Bottle is the answer! Great for a quick spray on hands, fermenter valves, sample takers, etc. either before or immediately after use. Add 1/2 tsp (2 ml) of Star San and fill with water. Sanitizer will last up to 1 week before it is ineffective.
